Water for Events: Temporary Connections

Getting Water to Remote Sites and Festivals
Hosting a summer festival in a field? Setting up a construction site compound before the utilities are connected? You need a reliable source of clean water for drinking, toilets, and catering.
At Ardent Utilities, we specialize in designing and installing temporary water connection systems for events and industry.
Sources of Water
We can source water in two main ways:
Standpipes: If there is a public hydrant nearby, we can arrange a license to draw water directly from the network using a standpipe and meter.
Tankers: For remote fields with no mains access, we bring the water to you in food-grade tankers and store it in large static pillow tanks or bowsers.
Hygiene is Critical
Just because it is temporary doesn't mean safety standards drop. Water sitting in temporary hoses can heat up and breed bacteria like Legionella. We provide full water hygiene services, including:
Chlorination: Disinfecting all temporary pipework before use.
Insulation: Lagging pipes to keep water cool.
Testing: Daily sampling during your event to ensure water remains potable (safe to drink).
Construction Sites
Builders need water from Day 1 for mixing mortar and welfare units. We can install a construction site water supply (often a temporary standpipe on the boundary) that serves you until the permanent connection is installed months later.
Infrastructure Hire
We don't just supply the water; we supply the network. We hire out pumps, buffer tanks, and kilometers of temporary pipe to distribute water across your festival site or building plot.
